Dems Make Outrageous Move Against Bible… Demand US Ban These Two Words

In the liberals’ continual assault on Christianity, a group made up of at least two dozen Democrats have teamed up to begin work on removing two words from all federal law code — words that were taken straight from the Bible.
In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on the legalization of gay marriage across the country, Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif., and her colleagues have decided that the “gendered” words, husband and wife, were inappropriate and discriminatory toward same-sex couples.
Capps' Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act comes just one year after the state of California updated its own laws to accommodate same-sex couples.
“The Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act recognizes that the words in our laws have meaning and can continue to reflect prejudice and discrimination even when rendered null by our highest courts,” Capps said of her efforts to strip the two traditional words.
“Our values as a country are reflected in our laws. I authored this bill because it is imperative that our federal code reflect the equality of all marriages,” Capps explained.
The bill, according to Capps, is the “next step” in the wake of the ruling, making sure the U.S Code “reflects the equality of all marriages.”
According to the Washington Examiner, she pointed out that the rewording would also benefit any future husband of a president, as current law states that it’s illegal to threaten a president’s wife, but not a president’s husband.
Taking a jab at our country’s Judeo-Christian roots is an added bonus for Democrats in charge of pushing the bill through. They never miss a good opportunity to strip any hints of Christianity from government, no matter how slight and common they may be.
