A very good witness, today...
I oftentimes go to the local university library to use the net when I'm out-and-about in town, rather than going home. Today I was talking to one of the volunteers at the check-in desk and she had her Bible out on the desk. I asked about it, and that lead into a discussion of the distinctions of Paul in his ministry to the gentiles as opposed to Peter and the jews/nation of israel. We discussed several other things related to right division and the revelation of the mystery [note to reader: that is NOT having to do with the last book of the Bible] given only to Paul, and none of the more well-known 12 [13, after Judas' suicide) disciples during Jesus' earthly, kingdom ministry, up to his death, burial, resurrection and ascension. It was very unique to have a computer and monitor right in front of us as we conversed, so I seized the opportunity to show her several spiritual initiatives I have on the web and my site@ paulproject.boards.net/ and the video teachings made available there. She turned out to have been raised Catholic as well as Church of Christ, which the latter I also came out of. This went on for nearly a hour and she seemed to enjoy the things I showed her. She already had a 1769 KJB [King James] so I didn't have to go into the issues of the 'modern' (post-1881) crop of apostate 'bibles' that have come rumbling like an avalanche of spiritual confusion upon the 'christian' world.
The interesting thing about being a right-divider is that I have to be ready always to give a reason for the hope that lieth within me as both a Christian and a holder of the mystery of the revelation doctrine. Most folks who're saved (as I believe this precious lady was, according to her testimony) have never even heard of these things, as she readily admitted she had not, sadly.
1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
