SCCY pistols www.sccy.com/
I am a member of a place called Gun District and noted the other day the arrival of a new page for that brand of handgun. Had a short conversation with the page attendant and in the course of it asked them about the .380 caliber version that they started talking about last year, but never delivered to the marketplace. They 'double-dog' assured me that it is coming by the end of 2015, at latest.
Their 9mm version (currently their only model offered) is a great little gun for very little cash. I have owned and carried one for the past several years. If the .380 is anything like it (its supposed to be a double-stack, and that alone will make it a standout) it will be a hot little number, too. I already carry a single-stack .380 as a secondary/backup and wouldn't be adverse to making the new SCCY a primary, since it will have (at least) the same capacity (or possibly even 1 or 2 extra rounds), of their 9mm version, depending on the design.
The rep said they were unable to give me any other details except to say that it was a very nice-looking and great-shooting piece. I specifically asked them if they'd personally shot it and they confirmed that yes, it had been passed around the factory range. I'm more than slightly skeptical about the delivery timeline (it was supposed to be out the beginning of THIS year) but we'll soon know. Any concrete info I get I will pass along to you. If you have questions about their 9mm you'd like me to answer, just ask.
